Hello To Everyone!

From time to time I will make entries here as to the progress of my own projects; Status of customer’s projects; Interesting projects that I may be working on; Or simply to let folks know what is going on around here at CAMSHAFT INNOVATIONS!

First a little about me.

My name is Jay Allen and I live in Saline, MI. I am married to my beautiful wife Janet and we are going on our 18th year! We have 2 kids, Lea who is 16 and Lucas who is 13. I have been involved with cars since I was 16 (Wow! 29 years ago!). I am fortunate enough to have worked for some of the most prolific companies and people in the automotive aftermarket. Trick Flow Specialties, Canfield Cylinder Heads, Ronnie Crawford, and my good friend Billy Glidden.

My philosophy is simple. Give the customer the most I possibly can before, during, and after the point of sale. In the world of high performance no one bats 1.000 as there are no guarantees as some would have you to think. As long as the customer stays in contact with me and works with me, I will help them achieve their goals. I will do “Whatever It Takes” to get there. But I cannot fix a problem if I do not know there is one. I am very direct and very honest. I live by the phrase “Don’t ask the question unless you want the answer”. I have a great sense of humor and having fun with my family is what puts a smile on my face.
